I had a very good conversation with John, a builder of tiny homes, about the cost of living, climate change and the environment.
Our taxes are too high and the cost of living has sky-rocketed. Many of our citizens may not be able to cover their mortgage, rent and/or fixed expenses. We need to expand our tax base beyond individual citizens so that we can protect our current services and also grow the services that we need more of.
I really hope our tiny house project will move forward quickly in Thunder Bay.
